(Zweibrücken, Speyer) Crane service provider Schuch recently expanded its crane fleet in July with four Terex cranes. The new additions are an all-terrain Terex Demag AC 250-1 crane, a rough-terrain Terex Bendini A600 crane, and two Terex PPM TC 40 L truck cranes. "In order to stay successful in the future, we need modern cranes with long booms, and the Terex Demag AC 250-1 is the only one on the market with an 80-meter boom," said owner Stefan. With its main boom extension and jib, the crane can reach a maximum system length of 113 meters, and the main boom extension can be offset up to 40 degrees under partial loads. Its speed-dependent rear axle steering system makes it possible to achieve increased maneuverability. On the Go with Terex Truck Cranes The investment made in Terex PPM truck cranes is Stefan Schuch's response to a higher demand for compact units: "The trend is clearly pointing toward compact machines and the type of cranes that we use for prefab homes and the like. With its 37.4 m long main boom, the Terex PPM TC 40 L more than satisfied our need for long booms, and as a result was the perfect crane for us. With the main boom extension, we can even reach a maximum system length of 45.4 meters. " The superstructure is the same used with the all-terrain Terex PPM AC 40/2 and AC 40/2 L crane series. The truck-like carrier is equipped with three axles C two of them with a rigid drive setup and one of them steerable. The engine (with 320 hp), transmission and axles enables fuel-efficient operation and outstanding travel and work performance. The machine's maximum travel speed is 90 km/h. Furthermore, the crane does not require any additional weights and is immediately ready for use.
New Terex Bendini A 600 in Saarbrücken at AKV / Schirra & Schuch One of the other newcomers to the Schirra & Schuch fleet is a Terex rough-terrain crane. The Terex Bendini A 600, based at the Schuch group's Saarbrücken location is working at the famous Dillinger Hütte steel works. Stefan Schuch sees the quick load-handling abilities of this rough-terrain crane as a crucial asset made possible by the machine's outstanding lifting capacities without outriggers. "The Terex Bendini A 600 features extremely light handling and is optimized for traveling under loads." The 60-ton machine offers a boom length of 32.4 meters C T3 and T4 are telescoped proportionally, independently from T2. The boom can be telescoped with a partial load, and the 40.5-ton weight is distributed with 18.4 tons in the front area and 22.1 tons on the rear. A Cummins engine with 149 kW at 2,100 rpm and DANA transmission, with six forward and six reverse gears power the crane, allowing it to overcome challenging terrain conditions. The Schuch Group With eight locations throughout Europe and North Africa, the Schuch Group covers all aspects of the lifting and transportation business. The company is investing in a Terex Demag CC 2800-1 crawler crane and is expanding its Sembach location into a large crane center. The company's fleet of 35 trucks is available for heavy load transportation of up to 40 tons for lowbed units and 100 tons for heavy load units,
